This week, student K-5, partnered up to tackle coding. It was fun to see students engaged and enthusiastic as they problem solved various puzzles . Puzzles ranged in difficulty from dragging and dropping puzzle pieces for the kinders to fifth graders programming "Alex" or "Steve" to sheer a lamb or build a garden in the Minecraft themed puzzle. We will continue to learn code throughout the year, but if your children want to continue on their own, code.org has a variety of puzzles and course levels for students to work through. Scratch and Tynker are also great places where kids can build their own games and learn programming in a fun and engaging environment.
